SCIENTEX.....ALL the family ..in laws ..out laws ..& close friends are holding it that's why volume is so small.

At all time high recently ( listed in 1990 )after jump start @ RM2.80 Now still abvove RM3.00 Psycological level.

Now still holding.

hmm...I am not so sure to follow DaveSingh...cause he's someone new to me. maybe observe both your buy and sell call in the next six month just to be safe...cause other forumers talk alot about stocks but there's still 50 50 chance they are right and wrong...unless I am mistaken about you...will judge DaveSingh in six month time. nice to meet you

Just finished my lunch at coffeeshop. Do notice that this old coffeeshop have its very own drinking customer who loiter around the coffeeshop day and night. So to stay true to my own interest and studies, I ask the owner, which brand is fast selling, and why?
The answer from the owner Tiger. Or Guiness.
Then I ask why not carlsberg? And what Carlsberg is doing?
The answer again is 5-6 years ago carlsberg, now overtaken by Tiger.
And every new brand that Carlsberg try to bring in so far all failed.
My only curiosity is how far Hoegarden Beer can capture the market since it is a premium beer.
FYI, Hoegarden is distribute by Luen Heng & Carlsberg in msia.

I actually received a feedback from my friend that says that once u drink a Hoegarden, all the carlsberg and tiger, Heineken you won't drink anymore.
Hoegarden is a wietbeer. It position as a premium beer and more pricy.
Refer back to march starpaper report, Carlsberg and GAB are having a different path of expansion. Carlsberg will be looking at overseas expansion and making malaysia it's manufacturing hub. While GAB is concentrating to grow its local market.
# I have sold both counters this month and make a handsome profit.

Different ppl got different preference. Not many can afford a premium beer as it serves different market segment. The remarks from 1 or 2 persons is not representative to Carlsberg business as whole.
Let's check out the latest financial result on revenue growth.

Don't worry too much about Carlsberg. Goodstock, Do you know analysts are wrong 70- 80% of the time. If they are so smart, why they never have the same TP on 1 stocks. Never agree buy, sell or hold. I watch CNBC and remember they said gold is going to 3000 perouns. Few year ago, oil is going to 300 per barrel. Maybe be someday, but don't know when, we can say the same. What worry me is that when you see people drink Tiger instead of Carlsberg, and Kopitam doesn't sell carlsberg but other? or people doesn't drink and smoke anymore. Then we have to worry. When you see people drink carlsberg anywhere, kopitam, club, hotel, you make money. I never see people drink 1 bottle only, maybe me.

My shop is selling RM12.50 per bottle now(big carlsberg), a saleman said might hit until RM15.50 per bottle after Friday if GST tax on Carlsbergs.
