selling the treasury stock is just unlock the profit ,it is normal exercise for the listed company. Moreover dispose the plantation sector for CASH as well. we can expected to have good dividend to announced soon. HOPE SO.

The company had been buying back its own shares for quite some time. Recently they are selling the treasury shares. Purpose is to make money out of it?
Notice the amount of treasury shares are big and the selling Q is big also. By doing so, isn't it the price will drop?
Really don't quite understand what they are doing.
My thinking is that they are having hugh development project running into billions, so they need some funds and are selling some T shares.
Anyone wish to discuss and share here? Thx

I would go with the realization of profits but we would not see this until the Nov disclosure. Anyway its bought by related company. In one pocket, out another. I don't quite understand whats going on.

The price has been hovering at this range for couple of weeks. And everytime its pushed back to 3.5 or 3.51. Some kinda interesting activity.Vol has been picking up. Hopefully quarter results good.

Thx Hjey, I don't hate Hap Seng, I do hold some shares.
Wonder why its done in the open market. Maybe the price will be around this level for some time to come, as there are a lot more to go.
