Genting: RM 6.17
GenM: RM 3.36

As at 3 Sep 2021 (close):
Genting: RM 5.02 (-18.6%)
GenM: RM 3.00 (-10.7%)

Market capitalisation:
GenS: RM 28.9 bil (52.7% owned)
GenM: RM 17.8 bil (49.5% owned)
RWLV: RM 17.8 bil (100% owned) [Cost USD 4.3 bil @ 1USD : 4.15RM]

As anyone can see, Genting's share price performance has lagged that of peers and more importantly, it has completely ignored the value of 100%-owned Resorts World Las Vegas (RWLV) which is equivalent to Genting Malaysia's market capitalisation, and whose performance in the 2Q21 June quarter has exceeded expectations even though RWLV was only open for 6 days in the quarter under review (24 June-30 June)

It is clear that Genting (3182) is a no-brainer investment

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Of the 20,396 Covid-19 new cases reported on Sunday (Sept 5), 66.3% or 13,519 have no history of receiving the vaccine or have not completed the vaccination process.
In a statement, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said those who had not completed their vaccination included those who had only received one vaccine dose or had not gone past the 14-day mark after getting the second dose.

He said 6,877 cases or 33.7% had completed their vaccination, with 6,795 of them in category one, i.e., having no symptoms or in category two with minor symptoms.

"This situation shows that those who have completed their vaccination are better protected and less likely of getting serious Covid-19 infection.

Also we need to remember, i we dont have negative news spreders in this Gent forum , we wouldnt have managed to boy earlier months in discounted price and as time goes by when Gent goes 6.50 -7.50,, 8.00 and above the negative news spreders will be naturaly tamed or nuetralized/pacified

this is important for Gent comrade to understand

We should see more and more vaccinated people get infected, because they are moving around or working. Those not vaccinated become less and less in term of number, also they might hide in their home for whatever reason. Think logically and read properly, not just look at the title of news and start to make conclusions.
