KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 24): Malaysia reported 116 new Covid-19 deaths yesterday (Sept 23), down from 487 logged the day before.

This brought the nation’s total coronavirus-linked fatalities to 24,681, according to the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) COVIDNOW website, citing data from the Covid-19 immunisation Task Force (CITF).

Of the new deaths reported yesterday, 29 were brought-in-dead (BID) cases, raising the country’s cumulative BID tally to 4,838.

I guess until domestic tourism really started for Genting Highlands & until interstate travel truly started, people not going to believe what PM said….for instance Melaka state govt said not going to open to interstate tourism until melaka achieved 90% adults fully vacc. Pahang state said Tioman ready for domestic tourists starting 1st Oct & preparing their SOPs now

Tourism Minister proposed Genting to open by 1st Oct also. Need to see whether GenM really opens for domestic tourism by 1st October. This is possible since Pahang is now in Phase 3.
But Pahang state may take longer to reach 90% adults fully vaccinated
