Outcome of impending state elections in Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan would be critical. Should the PN make big inroads in these three states, you would see Genting heading south.

As i and warned, Genting has very strange share dealing patterns. When it corrects it corrects in a big way, when it rises there is lot of profit taking. This correction is interesting as it has gone below, 4.98, could be insiders selling, or simply small holders as the volumes are relatively low….another point is that the selling has impacted Sing as well ….so is the results, as by now internal guys would know the results.

@newbie2019 MA50 and 200 crossing at around 4.58. Prices have been keeping above the MA10 trend line. See if tomorrow onwards it will keep above. Looks strongly supported. Not much shorting today, so lots of profit taking. Folks will come back :p

Your caution reminds me of Icap Tan Teng Boo, forever worry this and that events, end of the day put major parts of Icap funds in Fixed Deposit for past 10 years, yet he claimed himself as Warren Buffett of Malaysia.
As a Bursa investor, I am vigilance of event that may impact this counter. I see no reason to worry so much as long as PH is in control of federal government and Pahang State government right now .Certain states seats may lose to PN in Selangor and Penang in future state election may cause some correction on this counter but I believe the impact may not as severe as like lock down during Covid 19

@MG9231, by sacking/suspending his opponents, Zahid has actually shot himself in the foot. Anwar has also given the Opposition an additional political fodder to capitalize on. PN has been playing the racial and religious cards prior to the recent GE and they would continue to do so, to the detriment of the nation. I hope you are right. Congrats YTD retailer already net selling of rm83mil of GenB share and all taken by local and foreign institutional with price already push up more than 10%. Now all under institutional control and ready to bump up the price. let enjoy the show
