eddysurge, if i were not wrong, not much, bjcorp has long been trying to sell part of bjfood to pare down debt. it has indicated that when bjfood has a market cap of about 1 billion.

For the history record, bjland share price is always above bjcrop, but these year make reversal, bjland share price is lower than bjcrop despite bjcrop tightly control more than 78% bjland and continue accumulate bjland open market. Bear in mind, bjcorp just increase its stake its stake in bjland last year through off market increase another more than 10% from previous 62% to 74% last year at 67sen (if no mistaken). Therefore, it is logic to expect for bjcrop to soon opt to privatize bjland soon afterall bjland is major earning contributor to bjcrop and its highly valuable land in Sg besi, Penang + Vietnamese huge asset + compensation jeju + write back provision from China great wall are all future catalyst to bjcrop.
