KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Corp Bhd has entered into a partnership a London-based merchant banking and investment company to set up New World Capital Advisors Sdn Bhd (NWCA Malaysia).

The NWCA Malaysia team will be led Lena Tan, a veteran deal maker and investor with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry in Asia, Europe and the US.

Lena Tan is also the chairman of BCorp's subsidiaries, 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd and Singer Malaysia.


"I am excited to lead and build the NWCA business in Malaysia and I am thrilled to advise New World Group’s portfolio companies across conventional markets as well as the Islamic economy in Malaysia," Lena Tan said in a statement today.

MoneyMakerKing Need to follow warren buffet- buy when other ppl are fearful. Seems that many ppl don’t believe this company and keep saying this is a con company and always only one day show. Changing my mind now to buy more instead of unloading it. If it spikes a lot and ppl start greedy then I feel fearful to unload all. See this strategy will work or not... haha....
