William Cheng's empire is crumbling....... once a dominant powerhouse in malaysia, now turning into sampah! his lioncorp cheaper than toilet roll......
Agreed, nothing is sure things in business world, look at once giants Nokia, Blackberry & Yahoo. ------------------------------------------------------ speakup LION group joining the ranks of MBF group. Once great names, now junk! 02/10/2016 18:12
It is strange that our own Malaysian government doesn't support Megasteel, the subsidiary of Lion Corp. and would rather it be shut down. How many Malaysians lost their jobs?
Asiv92, personally want go through the process of delist of company..queuing little share at 0.5 cents I think Will get by today because of not appeal statement...
“The board of directors of the company (Lion Corp) had today announced that the company has resolved that the company will not be submitting the appeal in view that all material developments in relation to the regularisation plan have been disclosed to Bursa Securities for their deliberation in arriving at the decision,” Lion Corp said.
Trading in the company’s securities will therefore be suspended from Oct 10 and then de-listed on Oct 12. Lion Corp will still continue its operations and business as an unlisted entity.
What William Cheng did is like: he had one bad sour bottle of milk, he mix it the bad milk up with his good bottles of milk.....so all his bottles of milks became bad.
Already confirmed OCt 10th tutup cerita. Bye2 LionCorp...or should change to CatCorp...or mouseCorp...sad for many of my brothers trapped here. Conned. Investors lost so much money in such nonsense company.
Asiv92 after delist from bursa...too many possible could happen..buy back or not depend on big shareholder. .anythings also depend on big shareholder. .
Haha ! Berjaya , dun be stupid , so far after delisted , no body will interested of your share . your share is zero value! Dun think positive ! U will lose all your money ! Happy trading !
I was surprised ....there are some people still buying at 1 sen. By right...you should see all selling at 0.5 sen. Those who bought at 1 sen....will be holding....and later forced to sell at 0.5 sen...a loss of 50%! Already gonna be de-listed...those people might be un-educated enough not reading news. Maybe the uncles and aunties who are too old and think the stock is so cheap...at 1 sen....sure kena burnt kaw kaw.... sad to see this. Those clever people sudah cabut kaw kaw....
Investment or business melded with risks always. Thus, the capital loss of investment in Lioncorp not caused by management deceits or beguiled by the founder. Instead, the steel market undergoes the cyclical downturn after the post crisis in 2008 and dumping sales from China attributes oversupply to spate of production in the mainland. Thereafter, on the bright side ,Lion corp only delist from Bursa Malaysia not winding up its business or go bankrupt at the moment. Refer to announcement yesterday, the company will still running the business as usual yet in terms of an unlisted entity. William Cheng's is a prestige businessman and swathed the spirit of entrepreneurship always. I bet he'll will not indistinctly give up the 40 years blood, sweat and tears Empire's, though in the challenging environment. I wish Lion keep going to find the beacon and thrive again one day. Good luck!
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
