This is how the big shark play in the market. In case you don't know what's going on. Refer to example below


Morning
Buy price Unit Cost
0.33 1million unit 330k

Sell price
0.38 1million unit 380k

From morning session, Institutional Investor X gain RM50k (for easy calculation, I exclude fee)


Afternoon
Buy price
0.36 1million unit 360k

Institutional Investor X enter the market again to buy 1mil at 0.36. Total cost is 360k but average cost is 310k for 1million unit.

Institutional Investor X can do the same trick few times. and i'm talking about 0.005cent changes

or

Institutional Investor X may hold this stock for other trading day. Maybe its' objective is to bought certain amount at lower price. Thus, they flipped the stock in the market

For retailers like us, we should just do homework and decide if the company can be invested.
Accumulate on low price.

MAS’ 2Q13 passenger load factor surged by 6.6ppts YoY to 80.4%
cargo load factor increased by 1.5ppts YoY to 72.8%
(Overall increase load factor uo to 77.9% and even higher compared to Singapore airlines for the compared period)

Total revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) climbed 13.3% q-o-q and 29.3% y-o-y
Total available seat kilometers (ASK) grew 7.8% q-o-q and 18.7% y-o-y.
Oneworld alliance also helped lift MAS’ international passenger RPK by 12.3% q-o-q and 30.1% y-o-y.

Current NTA (Net tangible assets) = .52 cents a share

So current price is still lower valuations for this company. Time will tell when the company turnaround. Advantage of GLC company is that they have longer time to turnaround. Look at SIME when the major loss from bakun but now their stock price has recovered.

Looks like the buy out negotiation had ended. If still under negotiation, they can't talk. Now that the negotiation failed, everybody come out and say something. Gave mkt some excitement & pushed up the price.

Hafiz, u know Najib ,our PM or just yr expression ? I love MAS ----they try very,very,very ,very hard to be profitable. Change CEO, best food - for satay , bigger planes for stretegic destinations...Basicly,im a Malaysian. I hate Malaysia to lose ! I bought from 50 cts ,,till 28 cts today close 36.5 ??! RM 5 is impossible !! If yes, i will be a millionaire on this share alone.

Hafiz, i play a lot on MAS .36 cts i still masuk and i sold at 39.Im so afraid to lose.Earlier i beli at 50 cts. Pressure for me lah....im really confused now. I was hoping u can make me sleep ,senang.
I look at the trend,it will not hit over 40....i just got to hope
