I have my doubts that MAS will be sold for now. Price will drop once privatization ecstasy dissipates. Those buying big be prepared - not for contra players.
yea, i believe EPF and Khazanah is accumulating this counter this morning. So, the price now is quite stable. Also, MAS quarterly report will be released latest by this week and next week. If the losses reduce, the price may continue to rally.
When Tom, Dick or Harry start playing shares, the market is going to collapse soon. Similarly, when you start hearing all kind of fancy price projection after the share price has moved for some times, you got to be careful. :)))
If U in @0.39 is still good buy...... If very high volume and possibly earn 0.05-0.10 cents will make you a decent profit (i.e 500k unitsX0.05 = MYR25k!)
Privatization means the New Owner will offer a reasonable price(by New owner standards on what is reasonable) to MAS shareholders for it to take over. The interesting question is what will be the offer price??
MAS has been making negative profit (losses) till now..
msybs8848 had stated that Maybank Investment Bank analyst Moshsin Aziz has a buy call on the stock and forecast a RM384mil core net profit for current financial year ending Dec, 31, 2013 and RM724mil next year.
MAS paid up capital is 16,710,781,200 shares. Therefore forecast EPS is 2.29 cents(for 2013) and 4.33 cents(for 2014).
The interesting question is how much PE will MAS command now?
The market valuation of MAS will be the EPS X PE value...Assuming a PE value of 10, the valuation of MAS is 22.9 cents (for 2013) and 43.3 cents(for 2014)
However if one perceive MAS to be high growth and derserves a PE of 15, then the valuation of MAS changes to 34.35 cents(for 2013) and 64.95 cents(for 2014)
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
