（吉隆坡2日訊）香煙國內稅在2014財政預算案出爐前率先調漲，但券商認為，博彩業並非增加國家收入最佳選擇，博彩稅或在預算案中領“免死金牌”。

　根據艾芬投資研究報告指出，政府如想透過調漲稅務來增加收入，博彩稅顯然不是合適目標。過去幾年，政府調漲博彩稅並不在預算案期間。

　報告說，更重要的是，過往情況證實2個重點，第1：即便政府不調漲博彩稅，賭場稅收也一樣會增加；第2，政府上調萬字票（4D）稅率，反加劇非法測字業擴展風險。

　因此，博彩稅調漲風險大大降低。

雲頂賭場繳稅14億

　該行估計，去年博彩稅（包括測字業稅、賭場稅、博彩業稅和投注稅等）佔了政府收入1.3%或28億令吉。

　測字業每年大約銷售87億令吉彩票，以此為推算，政府征收8%博彩稅，及8%賭博稅（Betting Duties）。該行估計，政府在去年共從測字業征收14億令吉博彩稅和賭博稅。

　另外，大馬賭場去年收入達55億令吉，博彩稅約為25%；換言之，政府去年從大馬雲頂賭場獲得將近14億令吉稅收。

　該行也強調，政府計劃在2015年將赤字降低至3%，在政府立志擺脫赤字下，博彩稅也有成為調漲目標之一的可能性存在。

MPHB been very good to me wif Magnum/MPHBCapital split and now I be loyal to them in return and support BOTH !!! I have reaped capital gains as well as dividends and there is still more to come. This is what management is supposed to do. Make $$$ for shareholders !!!

Dividend policy on track
Magnum declared a second interim dividend of 5 sen, bringing the 1H13 YTD figure to 10 sen. It is on track to meet our FY13 forecast of 25 sen. Magnum has been averaging a 95% payout so far and we believe its balance sheet has the propensity to surprise with special dividends (it has RM1.4bn cash or RM1.00 cash per share).

from technical graph, magnum are in side way and flat... my suggestion is go for uptrend stock like Censof, Insas, or Instacom.... to get more bullet. Magnum is an income stock and good for retirement....
