Finally China opening up but foreign funds flowing restriction into Asia Pacific and other part of the world will benefiting SEA stock markets. Small accumulation have since started. Last sign is 2B value. Let's wait for the harvesting next year. Must not overlooking Bursa market and some good stocks including those are trading at the lowest now. Also do not underestimate the new leader ability. It's all about track record.

The increase in China covid case is indeed worrying. I don't believe much in main stream media news and there are many propaganda by countries with self interest. Hence, i watch tiktok posting and many has shows the street, restaurant, shopping mall was empty after the end of lockdown. Where are those ppl? Mostly in clinic and hospital for treatment. The most worrying part is they run out of common medicine for flu, fever and cough. and you can't find any in pharmacy or hospital. Singapore government imposes purchase limits on Panadol as apparently many bought medicine to send back to China and I heard in JB, the pharmacy sales skyrocketed leaving shelf empty. This is not even CNY yet which we will see the largest migration of ppl in China. Stay safe everyone.

China will manage COVID-19 with measures against Class-B infectious diseases, instead of Class-A infectious diseases, in a major shift of its epidemic response policies.

Starting from January 8, China will downgrade management of the disease from Class A to Class B in accordance with the country's law on prevention and treatment of infectious disease, and remove it from quarantinable infectious disease management carried out in accordance with the Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People's Republic of China, added the statement.

In addition, disease control measures targeting inbound travelers and imported cargo will be lifted, said the document.

Following the adjustment, China's COVID-19 prevention and control efforts will focus on protecting health and preventing severe cases. Measures will be rolled out to protect people's lives and health to the utmost and minimize the impact of the epidemic on economic and social development.

By now 75% of city population already have natural immunity. My Brother China family whole family with covid. Childten take 5 days to recover adult 7 to 10 days old man about 10-14 days but suffer after effect of body aches.

Questions are being raised yet again as China is hit with one of the worst Covid outbreaks but official figures continue to show a different pictures. Grim stories of packed intensive care units (ICUs) and crematoriums have been emerging at a time when millions are said to have contracted the virus in the country. Now, China's National Health Commission - that has been publishing daily Covid tally amid the pandemic- has said it will no longer release such data from Sunday, news agency Reuters reported.

Here are five developments on China Covid crisis:

1) "Relevant Covid information will be published by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention for reference and research," the NHC stated, as per the Reuters report. The national agency has specified the reasons for the change or how frequently China CDC will update the information in this regard.

2) After recent easing of Covid measures, the data coming from the country is said to be unreliable. The NHC on Friday said that no new Covid deaths were recorded on December 22, compared with zero the previous day. On December 22, 3,761 new symptomatic infections were registered, compared with 3,030 a day earlier. China counts its symptomatic and asymptomatic cases separately.

3) At a time when the country deals with a major health crisis, “Internet Hospitals” are being counted on to provide help to the affected people. This step aims to reduce overload on health facilities.

4) About 248 million people around the country, roughly 17.56 per cent of the total population, are reported to have contacted the virus in the first 20 days of December, as per a leaked document purportedly from China’s National Health Commission that has been cited in reported. Nearly 37 million cases were recorded on Tuesday.

5) While ICUs in Beijing are grappling with stress, it is expected to ease as load epidemic is approaching climax, as per an article in the state-run Global Times.
