company ini ada banyak tv chanel, tv7 dah jadi didiktv, sepatutnya tv8 jadi muhibbah channel, semua bangsa dalam malaysia ada, seperti drama bersiri melayu, cina, india, malaysia. mereka juga patut kembalikan show seperti rumah kedai. tv9 semalam kulihat more shopping online channel. kena revamp baru boleh survive, as for coverage - wide coverage, juga mereka bagi free channels, kalau astro limited coverage, more for those berduit, pendapat TESSA, ku share je kikiki

Some positive notes about Media Prima:
1) CEO is Micheal Chan and the management team is young and talented. (From Website)
2) Didik TV will add their income this year.
3) TV channels / Radio Channels / Wow Shop / Big Tree already flying high with good income. (From last QR)
4) 1/3 staff was retrench with cost saving. (From news paper)

2021 will be promising year for MP and we can expecting they will start to give dividend to shareholders.

Media go up with huge buying volume, however today going down with small volume.
Hopefully QR release by friday. EPS should be 2-3sen. Although FY2020 still net loss, i believe FY2021 whole year EPS will be 10sen

@johotin, Home shopping Q3 was at RM 78M and that was with 51% stake. They acquired the balance stake from CJ in Sept20, that's also why rebrand from CJ Wow to Wowshop. For Q4, they will have 100% stake from CJ. Revenue growth for this quarter is going to be big.

The first retrenchment of 543 staff cost 44m at 12/3/2020 will help the company save 53m per annum.
Second retrenchment of 300 staff cost 33m at 31/7/2020 will help the company save 29m per annum.

Media prima top 30 shareholders holding 80% of shares. Only 20% of issued share trading in market. Once they announced better and better quarterly results, i believe those EPF, PNB, LTH, and funds will come back to buy back the share. Somehow I was expecting a bigger revenue growth but good QR. FY2020 is almost breakeven. Turnaround completed and FY2021 will be full profit! Expect more growth in terms of earnings in the future!

Media Prima took 4 years to achieved this.

2021 will be a profit and promising year for them:
1) TV Channels / Radio Channels - is full of advertisement
2) Didik TV (KPM) - additional income
3) PRU2021 (election year) - political party will use MP for their campaign.
4) Wowshop - is generating huge income
5) 1/3 staff retrench - cost saving and turn to income in 2021
6) Vibrant and dynamic team - Lead by Mr. Micheal Chan (CEO)
7) Big Tree (Digital Media) - generating income as well

Great Results need time.

I personally think this is a good result. 2nd quarter revenue up and profits increased and there is more in the pipeline. The transformation is over and new management team should be able to do better from now on. MEDIA is now one of the biggest social platform in Malaysia. Lots of upside potential
