i translate.... adoi,...when you look bad in this counter, instead it goes up...when look good in this counter, it drop further. dont forget arh..., you are malaysians, you should know even better than us la...
Wow, smart investors keep collecting at this price. Light at the end of tunnel and last night PM said the tunnel is not that long. End of this year, yes!!
Good rebound today. Not to spread hatred or fear, but our Covid R-Naught still in uptrend and all time high at 1.18. Our Covid still not peak yet and not coming down anytime soon
Just to share my thought, we are now like UK during deep COvid crisis, or US during deep COVID crisis...where mortality and cases all are higher and higher...
It was also a turn around moment that both US and UK gorment started their serious comitments to bring in vaccines, vaccination drives, and enforce stricter SOPs. And cases constantly drop until now they are easing more and more activities...
I think we are repeating their footsteps, and I think the current crisis here will speed up our vaccination drives...
When vaccination soon reach 40-50%, we should see huge encouragement in the drop in cases...just like UK and US...so the next recovery sentiments should happen fast than expected. It may materialize earlier than we expected...Everybody mention herd immunity at 80%, but look at UK, Israil, and US, they aren't reaching 80%, perhaps 50-60%, and the results are very positives now...So we may not need 80%, maybe 40-50% may be a significant drop in cases...
Disclaimer: Just to share own thoughts, not a buy or sell call.
US has proven that the daily covid new cases going down when more people get vaccinated. Malaysia is expediting on the delivery of vaccine and to get more people vaccinated. Hope to see the covid daily new cases will also drop soon!.
That's why i say those are not smart investor only invest based on news alone. For me pullback buy. Another pullback buy. Genm is premium blue chip stock. U all treat this like macam goreng penny stock.
(May 23): Genting Hong Kong Ltd said it is assessing whether it will have “sufficient financial resources to continue as a going concern” after the pandemic nearly wiped out its cruise business.
The cruise ship operator reported a net loss of US$1.7 billion (about RM7.04 billion) and net operating cash outflow of US$629 million for the year ended December, according to a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange on Sunday. Current liabilities exceeded assets by US$3.3 billion and borrowings with principal of US$3.4 billion were in default as of the end of 2020, it said.
The coronavirus epidemic has forced the company to temporarily suspend almost all of its cruise operations and stopped or deferred the construction of ships in its pipeline, according to the statement
“Further resumption of the cruise operations is dependent on the development of the Covid-19 pandemic, including the travel restriction requirement of different countries,” the company said in the statement.
The company said it may consider additional measures to improve its financial position including allotting new shares, raising liquidity through debt or equity sources, working with creditors to restructure debt, requests for debt holidays and the monetization of non-core assets.
Genting M you need to buy and keep and next year gain. Now? try your best to buy lowest from 2.5 2.4 2.3 2.2 2.1 then average to sell at 3.5 , 3.7 , 3.8 ---4.5 2022-2023
