Don't know much about counters u have mentioned, but TA rises lately because of 1. Brokerage business to be sold 2. Property development surrounding klcc. These 2 are nothing new, been goreng many times but never materialized. I still own some TA sure would like to see them happen. Anyway, buy as you see feed, I merely expressed my viewpoint. Don't get angry

Tony buy, I follow. Who knows the co most? Dividend 2.8 cts. Last q result up 70%. Bursa turnover still very good. Property bought at cheap price. Hotel bought at cheap price. Apa Lu Manu lagi?

Tony see the stock price is cheap! That's why he keep buying. Check skpres shares Dato Gan at one time also buying cheap price. Look at the price now! They both run their own co. They know in and out about their co. They plan. They know what they are doing. Whether the co is going to do well in the future, they are the one to know first. So Tony buys it is quite safe to follow. Read up the report by alliance investment bank n be prudent.

The news in ongoing future plan for TA, M&A is still in Tony and Alicia mind.
Look in HwangDBS merger with Affin. TA could be the next target

The question is when? They talked about quitting earlier than OSK n HWANGDBS, yet they are still there. They talked about developing landed nearby KLCC, yet they are to be started. Thats why I don't recommend chasing high on this stock, the ex-con TA boss has low credibility.

I guess I should add this: Though, I can't deny the value of the lands TA hold or the value of the brokerage arm. Should TA really sell its brokerage arm and develop its land surrounding KLCC, it may have a value of more than 1.20 per share. However, given TA boss's selfishness which disregards shareholders interest and big mouth lies, its hard to trust whatever he/she had said. You can cry wolves so many times, and I guess they are PROUD of crying wolves so long its in their best interests...

Ta has a dividend policy. If I am not wrong they are giving out 40% of earning as dividend. And If you had paid attention, one of the director said you will be pleasantly surprised when the Q result comes out. Indeed it was a pleasant surprise n prices went from 85 to 101 to date. Almost 20% increase in such short period! N tony is still collecting.

IFFFFFFF ta really sell its broking arm, what is left in ta is only cash and tagb shares. those who are long term on ta can then hope that ta will distribute the cash and tagb shares to all its shareholders.
