IMO, brokerage business is getting tougher by the day. If TA didn't sell its brokerage business, it would be hard to materialize its full value. Problem is, after selling brokerage business, there is nothing left for TA to differentiate itself from its subsidiary, TAGB.
Anyway, wonder how soon and how much TA would get from its brokerage business.

I dunno too much theory , but if I make net profit with rm500 - rm800 then I will run.
Dun too care, as long as make net profit fr stock market.

Every time I enter, only with 10,000 units share. ( TA also same )
That why I only earn some thousand of money, But loss money only same few rm200-rm350.

The special dividend amounting to 48 sen a share is a possibility only if TA disposes of its brokerage arm, it is not a certainly. The company may decide to keep the proceeds or just declare a portion of it to make investors happy. Nobody knows what the directors are going to do.

Ta owns 61% of global and at present price of 38 cts , ta is worth 72 cents. If we add the stockbroking business of 48 cents per share(book value only), ta should be 1.20 now...

TA's NTA around 1.80. Most of you should realised around 60-70% of profit and assets derived from its hospitality segment. Just imagine if TA were to sell its broking arm, TA will no longer categorised under the finance category but instead under the hotel. Look at Shangri-La's valuation, look at its P/BV, TA is primed for major re-rating soon.
