2 biggest parcels of land held by OSK are at Sungai Petani and Rantau. The cost of land for SP could have definite advantage since it was acquired since as early as 1996!!!

Perhaps OSK bid for LSS3 for these 2 location, may be directly compete with pestech-solarvest (solarvest-chinhin northern region and solarvest-pestech sourthern region probably)!!! likehood of osk to win can be higher in view of (1) land cost advantage (2) japan partner technology and cost advantage (3) perhaps first time bidding at lower rate (4) share price reflects (see recent movement of osk vs pestech)...

however, even if osk won the lss3, how many % increase in top and bottom line?

Even taking out gain of their sale of hotel, which was about RM93m (4.4sen per share), core EPS for 12 months would have been 14.22sen equates to P/E of 6.75 is still very cheap.

Think their property side would do well with 1.6bn unbilled sales and Melbourne profit can report in the next few quarters. The margin they make from property segment is quite decent considering current property market.

on the surface, P/BV seems super cheap. what they need to do is increase their ROE and the P/BV discount would narrow.

Hotel business is not in their Property segment. Their hotels are run to make profit from operations of the hotel, not from disposal of hotels so its not part of core earnings.
