good day heh KC, digi, gen m, protasco, well call - well called indeed :) this is another one that I missed - 3 of the stocks that i practically watched them climbed or surged to be more accurate, well call, padini and old town - all on my watchlist always looking for the cheapest price!

yeah, 10 sens in total! cool eh? hehehe bought at 89.5 i think july! 11% returns already! if their interim is consistent at 4 sens, a return of appx 18% per year. forget the capital gain, this IRR will give you everything back in 5 years on dividends alone, all else being equal! :)

PETALING JAYA: Protasco Bhd saw 14.8% of its stake transacted in several off-market deals yesterday at RM1.20 each, which was a big premium to its current market price of 95 sen.

Stock market data showed that the stake comprised 44.62 million shares, or 14.8%, based on its share issue of 300 million units.

At RM1.20, this was 26 sen or 27.6% above Tuesday’s closing price of 94 sen.

At the market close, share price of Protasco was up one sen to 95 sen with 381,700 shares changing hands.

Aside from engineering and construction, Protasco also owns and runs the Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College and the Ikram Training and Infrastructure Development Institute. Its education division is one of its revenue drivers and largest contributors to group operating profit.

Protasco has long-term concession agreements with the Federal Government for the maintenance of two roads, ending in 2016 and 2018 respectively. It also has long term contracts for maintenance of state roads in Selangor and Terengganu.

Overseas, the company has road maintenance contracts in the Middle East since seven years ago.

today, announced acquisition of oil exploration company in Indon for rm170m with profit guarantee US50m

Next monday, the share will fly.
