The sales deal valued at USD$1.185 Billion and AA received USD$0.9366 Billion proceeds already. Means still have USD$248.4 Million by end of this month or earlier. So bumper dividend will announce end of month?

AA has 3,341,974,082 outstanding issued shares.

Sold 84 aircraft and 14 spare engines for RM 4,620,000,000 (deal proposed on 1st March)

RM 4,620,000,000 / 3,341,974,082 shares = RM 1.38 per share!

Now stock at 1.38 divided by 3.10 = 44% bumper dividend yield?

If not entire sale proceeds being used to pay bumper dividend and we assume half only at RM 0.69 per share that is still a 22% special dividend yield!

Long term borrowings (LTB): RM 2,365,515,000

(1) So AA's Total debts is RM 3,181,526,000 (STB + LTB)

(2) Cash on hand: RM 1,933,506,000

(3) Total final cash to be received from selling 84 aircraft & 14 spare engines is RM 4,620,000,000

Okay, assume that if AA's board of directors decided to use the massive sales proceeds to clear out all existing debts then AA will become a NET CASH company.

RM 4,620,000,000 - RM 3,181,526,000 = RM 1,438,474,000

After minus all debts, AA still have massive cash from sale proceeds of RM 1.43 billion!

If this amount is to be paid back to shareholders as special bumper dividend as promised by CEO then...

AA has 3,341,974,082 outstanding issued shares.

RM 1,438,474,000 / 3,341,974,082 = RM 0.43 per share of special dividend!!

Please do not forget all those calculation above is just using cash from sale proceeds. AA itself has another cash on hand of RM 1,933,506,000 to run its operations!

Also AA is selling many other assets like Expedia, etc. which raised more cash into its coffers.

Also u have to remember AA is still earning more profits each quarter not counted into its own cash pile!

So much CASH coming its way! WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR?

Why bother about oil price or trade war. AA can always adjust its ticket price and as long as everyone is still flying AA, sure make money la. Anyway AA got a lot of cash now, it is one of the highest cash company in Bursa and come Dec, TF is going to play Santa Clause. I have already hang up my stockings, ho ho ho.

AAGB is optimistic that the transfer of the last 11 aircraft and 14 spare engines under the Proposed Disposals in order to complete the Incline B SPA and the FLY SPA will take place on or before 31st October 2018. A further announcement will be made accordingly.
