There is this article titled "Cash is king but debts matter" published in the weekly financial paper FocusMalaysia (Sept29-Oct05). Airasia was listed in the ranking of the Top 15 cash rich companies (excluding financial services companies).

The one that caught my attention is the "Total debt / EBIT" where Airasia is ranked 1st among all the Top 15 cash rich companies.

Net Debt/EBIT is a measure of indebtedness of a company. It is calculated as a company's Net Debt divided by its, EBIT. The Net Debt/ EBIT ratio shows how many years it would take for a company to pay back its debt if Net Debt and EBIT are held constant. Generally, the lower this ratio the better.

now we know TF has plenty of time on his hands....being manager of stadium. But share price is yoyo like, no time to handle this, aiyoo. Does anyone know if or when special dividend will be paid. I think many holding bec of this mystery. TF already promised many times even at the AGM two years ago.
