based on the price movement just nw..... i think its a reversal for airasia price already.... normally if index fall and sudden heavy dumping... airasia would not withstand it and will continue drop drastically. However for today, it still supporting it, many ppl who ply short selling will need to buy back later..... its keep on becoming stronger..... oil future will also drop.... u can see our oil & gas stock.... all drop heavily... even the stock that i like it the most... serbadk also drop till so fierce.... this shows that how investor concern on the future oil price outcome

oil price will be a problem but its not a really big problems for a growing company with good management team.....brent oil price was above 100 at 2012-2014....but airasia also can make profit at that time.....currently only 80 yet the share price drop so much already....downside is limited

as of my estimation the special dividend may be around .35sen-68sen
if they don't intend to keep most of the profit in their warchest.

Zhen Wei &. JP, I agree with u that the special dividend shld be ard 35 - 68 cts which is more realistic. However, I don't think Tony will announce the dividend in November, is too soon .

The low oil price will buff aax flight + the collaboration btw google ai will assess their operation/structure > overall efficient planning.
AAX financial year were pretty messy.

The news of special div was made some 2 years ago and till today shareholders still holding the 'begging bowl' and waiting................ Might have invested in so many other shares and made profits. Seems the BOD are still waiting for the sky to fall. Totally unfair to the investing public

Last qr BOD inform that next qr they will reveal the s.dividend after execution of aircraft.
Meantime just ignore the s.dividend and be aware of the financial result.
example when the R appear it gonna be much more %@#$..

Waiting people q (retailer sell) then collect. If retailer don't want sell, then drop the price. Of cos, many retailer will talk about oil price lah, market sentiment lah, government budget lah. But end up, operator collected what they want.

They cannot press the share price below rm 2.5 by end of the week or month. TF also won't allow, there will be margin call for the shortage to maintain security margin ratio.
