Base on the current year load factor, that is consider ‘tak bagus’ will suffer AirAsia operating profit. Low load factor + higher oil price in q3 May affect AirAsia operating profit by 150mil income. But AirAsia current price at 2.38 can consider already count in all this bad segments. The shareprice trade at current value alreday drop 50% from the highest price that is 4.75 in March 2018. For me, this price is undervalue and consider oversold with a company that got cash in hand RM2.00 per share .

Second thing base on 2018 q2 presentation slide, Tony alreday mention this q3 load factor will be around 82-83%. That meant match with what Tony expect. In the presentation also the Management expect 4th q 2018 load factor will be back to 86-88% base on the current booking. For me 2.38 is at oversold & undervalue price.

I’m sure smart business man like TF will hedge against oil price where it can be done through derivative. For example it fixed the oil price at USD 70 per barrel on December. So when December come, the price goes up to USD 90 but cause of the derivative, AA is paying @USD 70. This apply if the oil price goes down as well.

My next down averaging price will be RM 2.15

I don't think its fair to compared Q2 with Q3. we should compare Q3 this year vs Q3 last year. Q3 is typically week for airasia business.

if we compared Passenger carried actually increase compared to Q3 last year.

Load Factor decrease but mainly due to seat capacity increase.

I will still hold till the Q3 result mayb.

Don't forget might be special dividend but again no one can assure.

But market sentiment really not good

Govt already hinted that Operating expenses will eat up 91% of budget allocations for Govt servant salary(1.6 million strong), pensions & service for debts only 9% left for public works.

So construction related company like econpile gonna suffer

As consumers will get some help just go for consumer stocks with dividends
