Very suprised why Stony so quiet and did not protest the increase?

KUALA LUMPUR (March 12): Batik Airline is hoping for a better standard of service for use of the facilities at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), following the decision by the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) to standardise the passenger service charges for all international flights out of KLIA or klia2 and other airports at RM73 by June 1 — which will effectively raise the rates for Asean-bound flights from RM35 to RM73.

I believe a company in distress should be ascertained not on balance sheet historical numbers, or accounting, but on cash flow. Is this company liquid? Is it making money? Does it have a future?

Haha good one from Stony on PN17 defination.
So did capA generating any positive cash flow to pare down debts and current liabialities?
Who are you try to kid Stony?

Covid-19 had totally destroyed capA balance sheet. The only way to rebuilt/reset the balance sheet is debts restucture where everyone need to take a haircut. But for reason only knew to Stony only AAX go thro' a debts restructure but not capA.

With net current liabiliaties of RM (12,507,207,000) where can capA going to get the money to fulfill the obligation to pay the current liabilities for next 12 months.

31/12/2023: 31/12/2022
RM'000: RM'000
Total equity: (10,469,461): (9,516,958)

Actually, I have a question for Tony & the Board,
instead of selling AA aviation business to AAX, in turn put heavy burden on AAX,
can CapA do a revaluation on its aviation business as material costs, building costs for plane, and also the second hand value for plane had risen, and then realized its excess value as goodwill, therefore improves the balance sheets without even selling the aviation business?
After all, CapA is making hefty money, if given sufficient time I'm sure it can pay off all its debts.

Tony should not be too aggressive on expansion plan, instead should concentrate on improving the balance sheet, or else it is not different from building an empire of debts.

New out of PN17 option without selling AA Aviation business to AAX:

Action 1:
Assume excess valuation for each plane of US$3.8mil. Or may be higher! LOL
Total 219 air planes yield excess value gain of RM3,821mil (1US$ to RM4.5915)

Action 2:
Don't give free CAPI shares to CapA investors, but instead use it to double the goodwill from US listing.
Goodwill RM2.36 bil to RM4.72 bil.

Action 3:
Make agressive profit target for 2024: RM2 bil net profit after tax. LOL

Action 4:
Stop buying new planes for one year. LOL

To get out of PN17:
Total Equity Deficit = - 10,469.5 mil (RM)
Valuation gain = 3,821.0 mil (RM)
US Listing Goodwill = 4,720.0 mil (RM) [Note: No free CAPI share to CapA investors.]
2024 Profit target = 2,000.0 mil (RM)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Net Cap-A Equity = 71.5 mil (RM)
== 1.7c NAPS

Almost all AA planes are lease planes from lessors.
The amount owed to lessors had snowball into
Current lease liabiliaties as at:
31/12/2023: 31/12/2022
RM'000: RM'000
5,259,638: 4,440,844

So do you think CapA can make enough cash flow to pay the current lease liabilities of RM 5,259,638,000 in 2024?

By the way if capA do not pay lessors tge lease rentals then lessors have the right to take back the lease planes.

Lease liabilities
The lease liabilities amounting to RM18.7 billion includes deferred aircraft leases of approximately RM2.3 billion. The lease liabilities are supported by ROU assets of RM12.1billion.

The Group had completed the restructuring of a total of 161 aircraft leases up to the date of this report including the waiver of lease rentals in arrears, as well as reducing future lease rates with a corresponding longer lease term, where necessary, and return of aircraft.

Agreed All leased Planes---after Tony gave back 2 billion Cash to investors, mainly himself (to settle 800mil
personal Loan ) The Real reason why AA cannot Get Loan from Bankers bcos Banks wants Tony &
Kama as Guarantor---Both have no money in there Saving Acct---how to guarantee?

If capA cannot make any money from below cheap sales then capA is nothing more than a Ponzi scam using advance sales money for working capital.

"‘Restructuring Deal of the Year’ Award " is an insult to intelligence.
This award recognises complacency, mismanagement, mediocrity and lack of creativity in conducting business. Dimwits are proud of such award.

I am also suprised why AAX did not get any debts restructure award of the year for paying 0.5 cent for every dollar owed.

Hopefully capA will get an award of the year for the most innovative and ceative way to get capA out of PN17.

Capitalize capA future earning by listing CAPI in US and then tranfer all the debts in aviation to AAX (under pretence of consolidate all airasia aviation busineses to AAX)

Know how Stony solved the PAA problems?
Stony abuse his power using capA to increase PAA holding from 40% to 100% without shareholders agreement or disclose the detail of the deal to Bursa hence end up with a disaster balance sheet.

Tony Fernandes literally loses his shirt! Isla Lipana red flags Air Asia Philippines after hemorrhaging P14B in last 2 years
BILYONARYO.COM
October 23, 2023
Things are getting turbulent in Tony Fernandes’ Air Asia Philippines (AirAsia) adventure as the budget carrier has taken a nosedive, racking up a jaw-dropping P14 billion in losses over the past two years.

Isla Lipana & Co., the auditing firm, isn’t pulling any punches and is openly questioning whether Fernandes can navigate AirAsia through financial storm clouds.

In the firm’s latest annual report, Isla Lipana said AirAsia’s massive losses -P7.9 billion in in 2022 and P6.4 billion in 2021 – which have pushed its capital deficiency to P39.9 billion or 60 times its original capital.

Beyond these losses, AirAsia is grappling with unpaid obligations to creditors and aircraft lessors.

As of 2022, AirAsia is mired in a liability quagmire, with P11 billion in dues and demandable payments and another P24 billion due within a year.

The airline’s struggle to meet its obligations predates the pandemic. In 2018, it failed to meet financial commitments related to a P1.78 billion loan from BDO Unibank. The carrier managed to postpone payments to BDO as well as restructure its lease contracts with aircraft suppliers.

Isla Lipana said these figures indicate that a “material uncertainty” exists on its ability to continue as a going concern.

Stony wish list for 2024:
Positive outlook on macro indicators
○ Anticipated downward trajectory of brent Crude Oil Price, with prices estimated to reach as low as USD78 per barrel in 2024
○ Expected strengthening of MYR against US Dollar, with an estimated closure at RM4.20-RM4.40/USD by year-end.
○ Market expectations of further interest rate cuts in 2024, advantageous given that 70% of costs are denominated in US dollars.

Q1 end 31/3/2024 almost come to the end.
Stony 2024 wishes will not be granted.

At current USD to MYR exchange rate, high Brent crude oil and no USD interest rate cut will Q1 ended 31/3/2024 another lose making quarter?
