@yjinnvy , yes, I said before, next quarter definitely will see profit. In fact, the last quarter actually already seeing operating profit, just that due to impairment, there was a nett loss. But that was a one-off impairment so next few quarters sure will see good results...
quarterly results very strong...good start, management expects it to be stronger...tomorrow morning will have to buy more before other people realize it..
read back my earlier comments - I already said that this quarter will surely go back to profitable! I don't have a magical crystal ball, but I analyze from facts... even from last quarter, Evergreen also showed operational profit (not loss), just that due to an one-off impairment loss/write-off (mainly incurred in Thailand), the final figure became negative. And with all the wood prices on uptrend, evergreen and other timber counters will do better in the next quarter...
Market sentiment weak with increasing covid-19 cases and fear of new lock down. Next QR is expected to be green as ASP continue to increase. Good to accumulate now.
In wake of the prevailing risk-off sentiment and Fed hawkish policy stance, the appetite on dollar assets has strengthened, reflected by the 1.82% rise in USD index WoW to 92.2. Meanwhile, RM has also weakened 0.75% WoW to RM4.14/USD. Technically, RM is likely to head towards RM4.16-4.18 zones following the double bottom patterns. A successful breakout above these hurdles will witness RM weaken further at RM4.20 -4.22 territory. Given the potential weakness in RM undertone in the near term, we reckon that export oriented plays or strong USD beneficiaries could return. We see good trading opportunities on FRONTKN, UCHI, INARI, UWC, VS, HOMERIZ, EVERGRN, TOPGLOV, DAYANG, MISC, and ARMADA.
guys, this Evergreen not only turned green/profitable in the latest QR, don't forget also that it has NTA of RM1.22 at the price of RM0.40++, that is 3 times the current share price. As I said, it is very much undervalued.
