Yes these are the salient factors for Thplant

1. Thplant was a midcap fallen down to penny level due to gross mispricing

The good times returning was erase the the dirt and dust of yesteryear and regain it's luster

2. Thplant though at penny stock prices own colossal amount of upstream plantation lands over 240,000 acres ---towering above so many others and even more than ijmplant at slightly less than 200,000 acres

3. Thplant palm oil estates are located in Trengganu, Pahang, Johor, Sarawak, Sabah and Kalimantan

Two types of lands at book value

Land with titles book value about Rm10,000 per acre

Land without titles but with Rights of use at Rm4k to Rm5k per acre

If revalued to current market price they should range from Rm15,000 to Rm40,000 per acre depending on the location

How did Thplant acquire so much palm oil lands over the years ?

Answer:

By borrowing to buy.
By issueing sukuk loans to buy
By way of M&A

By m&a is the most interesting

During peak years of high dividend time Thplant rose to near Rm2.50

And many pieces of palm oil lands were acquired without need of cash. How?

Thplant issued shares at Rm2.45 value in exchange for many plots of palm oil lands

These smaller palm oil companies wanted the easy way by giving them to Thplant in exchange for Thplant shares valued at Rm2.45

Today Thplant is now trading around 54 sen
And their cost of holding at Rm2.45

To buy now is a real discount from Rm2.45

While their shares depreciated (will rebound in due time so take heart): the palm oil lands are increasing in value due to inflation

In Sarawak the Govt has banned further conversion of timber lands to palm oil. So palm oil lands cannot be increased any further in Sarawak anymore. As such those who got palm oil lands are sitting on scarce commodities

The only way any new palm oil players can do is to buy from existing owners. So expect prices to increase more and more in future years

Thplant land size is over 240,000 acres more than the total land size of Singapore at 180,000 acres.

In Singapore the whole country has a plan to capture every drop of rain water.. so Spore water catchment area is 180,000 acres

As for Thplant it's palm oil producing area can enlarge to 240,000 acres longer term

And with cost of Cpo production only Rm1,465 per ton and current market price over Rm4,500 per ton the gross profit is over 200%

So these are great good factors

1.thplant share price at penny stock level is mispriced

2. At 240,000 acres Thplant land banks are even bigger than ijmplant and others

3. Being upstream Thplant will benefit most from high cpo prices

4. Thplant got it's undervalue lands by way of exchange with smaller oil palm owners by issueing new shares priced at Rm2.45 a share

5. Land book value still very low from Rm4k to Rm10k an acre. If revalued they should be up 2x, 3x or 5x

Bplant has started it's good dividend trend

After sorting out it's gearing by some assets disposal Thplant might return back to it's glory years of high dividends pay out

It make 4.7 sen for half year 2021. Full year EPS may reach 10 sen.
At today’s price of 54 sen, it is definitely undervalued.

This stock is "cheap" for a reason. Long term borrowings are more than RM 1.1 billion and total current liabilities is almost RM 0.5 billion.

Don't forget that it's net assets tower above it's borrowings

It's price of 53 sen is below it's Nav of 70 sen

It's palm oil estates which have not yet been revalued are as low as Rm4,000 an acre

Should all the 240,000 acres of palm oil lands be revalued Nav would rise above Rm1.00 easily

Thplant can do two things to pare down it's borrowings

1. 6 parcels of lands are for sale in Sarawak

2. Should palm oil Cpo prices maintain above Rm3000 per ton then the immense earnings of cash can also pay off all debts

3. Thplant is on track to see better times and resume dividend glory days again

Read Focus magazine today write-up on Bplant

It says Bplant high profit years came from palm oil land disposal

Thplant at 240,000 Acres plantation lands is even bigger than Uplant, Kmloong, Hs Plant, SWKPlant, Innoprise plant, bplant and so many many others

If Thplant sells it's lands at current market value it could easily rise above Rm2.00

TH do have money, but it would be wiser to expand the business further and generates more income for their depositors. They should make use of the current CPO price to gain as much profit possible from their plantation arm, if they can improve on their efficiency, cost and production.

No surprise at all Tabung Haji knows the IMMENSE UNDERVALUATION OF THPLANT OVER 240,000 ACRES OF PLANTATION LANDS

Over 3,000 ACRES ARE Precious Teak Wood Plantations

Book Value From only Rm4,000 to Rm10,000 per acre

If we give average value of Rm50,000 per acre

That will be 240,000 x 50,000

= Rm12,000,000,000 (About Rm12 Billions worth)

= Rm13.59 per share huhuhu!

Some of Thplant lands are located near Ecrl Rail

In Bentong parcels of Development lands were sold for Rm1 Millions per acre

So Rm50,000 per acre average for all is reasonable

If you look at farming lands throughout the world, they have increased in values and to buy one, you can only get if the best price is offered.

Agric. commodity prices have increased a lot which means not many sellers of agric. lands.

Coming to Thplant's lands, they are extremely valuable.

Again, a weakened MYR against most basket of currencies (USD, S$, A$, etc), our lands are too cheap and Thplants' lands will be in high demand by prospective buyers (with planted oil palms).

Let's see what is coming from Thplant.

I have been investing in Thplant share faithfully, and I will have the last laugh.

THplant's over $1 bil of borrowing are in the subsidiary's book . At company's level , there is zero borrowing. I think TH (the fund) or Thplant (the company) have the financial capability to undertake privatisation. It's really a matter of at what price .

Lembaga TH already owns 74% of Thplant. I think most minorities are prepared to accept offer at $1.00 to $1.20.

From the perspective of TH, it would make sense to assume 100% control to reap the full benefit of CPO price uptrend and relist later at higher IPO price.

Three four year ago, the IPO price is RM1. 25.

A matter of time it will go up with few tickets in market. Two cent here.

Malaysia has put a cap on land for oil palm to 6 mil ha (5,87 mil ha used as at 2020). Indonesia has implemented a 3 years moratorium on new planting. There is great pressure on the Indonesian government to extend the moratorium indefinitely due to environmental reason .
Consequently, AVERAGE CPO price will stay much high in the future amid stagnant /lower supply and in face of global warming threatening production (of other oil crops too). Oil palm plantantion will fetch a lot more due to scarcity of land.
Existing plantantion companies which generates huge amount of free cashflow can only expand thru brownfield acquisition.
M&A activity and privatisation will heat up in this sector .

Should sell Maybank instead due to

1) Its danger from over 70% SMEs closing shops

2) Low int environment of 1.75% Maybank cannot make much profit like before

3) Loan moratorium over More Houses will be out for lelong & Maybank will suffer losses & NPL will increase then dividend will be cut

4) This Covid 19 impact yet to be fully played out

Last time during Asian Financial Crisis Maybank crashed to Rm2.50

How low will Maybank crash to yet to be seen

40 cents ? Recently Tabung Haji had approached Bank for proposals to privatize. Could the approach Bank be Maybank ? TP 40 cents with the intention pressing down the share price for Tabung Haji to privatize?

Previously under Ijmplant before takeover, i knew there were some analysts/IB talks bad about the company and the then Ijmplant share price was around RM2.00. So, now the takeover price is RM3.10. In my opinions, generally, IB are not interested in the plantation sectors and so is their investments portfolio. The focus that IB make on the CPO price of above RM3,000-3,500 for the remaining year are likely to be wrong.

For Thplant wait for tabung haji next move or these

1. Tabung haji might follow Klk takeover ijmplant or Felda taking Fgv private

2. If not Thplant will dispose 6 palm oil estates in Sarawak and looking to sell to pare down gearing like Tsh

3. Now that Cpo prices are at multi year high the profits alone will be very excellent

So look forward to more positive factors
