Is good and easy to make profit in this commodity cycle. Beside this , there is super cycle on the way in the world.. and happening now. Jeff Brown , tech entrepreneurs and investor call it 'world ipo' worth quadrillion. Cut it short is called GTE stand for Global token exchange. Is a token and price is rising fast..... this token is much bigger than crypto currency to come( unrelated matter).

SOP's FY2021 EPS of 89.44sen is achieved on the back of average realised CPO price of $4,560.
In the likely event of CPO price averaging $5,500 for FY2022, EPS will surge by estimated 30% . Forecast EPS for FY2022 is $1.16.
Forward PE is therefore only 4.6X based on yesterday's closing.
Damn cheap!

Good year for downstream. Management indicated that the downstream segment’s performance has improved with very positive margins in FY21, on the back of higher prices as well as trading profits made during the year. However, its utilisation rate dropped to 80% from 90% in 2020, as focus was tilted more towards the upstream side – given SOP’s sensitivity to CPO prices.

FY21 unit cost was at MYR1,600/tonne, which was flattish YoY. This was likely due to lower fertiliser application and higher PK credits. Due to the labour shortage, management only applied 75% of its fertiliser requirements for FY21. Management anticipates that unit costs will be flattish YoY in FY22 despite rising fertiliser costs, as it is able to utilise some of the carriedforward FY21 fertilisers this year. SOP has contracted fertiliser prices for its 1H requirements, at 40-50% higher. We are more conservative, and have imputed a 10-15% YoY increase in unit costs in FY22.

In a bull market, SOP should fetch PE of 15x.
based on historic EPS of 90 sen (FY2021), share price should be $13.50
based on forward EPS of $1.10 (FY2022 est), share price should be $16.50

Don't simply take profit too early

Tell you guys a true life story

In year 2019 a Bank Manager bought Topglove cheap

Then Coronavirus started in March 2020 & Top glove share price shot up to over Rm6.00

Seeing profit she sold Topglove just above Rm6.00.

After taking profit she saw TopGlove share price rose and rose

And kept on rising till Rm26.00

Then TopGlove declared Two Free Bonus for each TopGlove share held

Seeing Topglove at the Lofty Peak of Rm26.00 plus giving 2 Free Bonus she could no longer tahan (and turned itchy; very itchy) and went to buy back her Topglove at Rm26.00


Then due to Glut & China fierce dumping Topglove crashed & she suffered losses even though she initially bought Topglove cheap

So don't make the silly mistake of selling TAANN too early as we are in Palm oil Super Bull

And no threat from China this round as Palm oil needs at least 4 years (time barrier) to grow & produce the 1st drop of Palm oil

So just hold tightly there is no telling that TAANN could morph into another Topglove later with "free bonus"
