SBL doesn’t mean the share has been short-sold, you have to refer to the IDSS/PSS/RSS volume. Since the announcement was out, there was only a total RSS volume of fewer than 3k lots, and the short-selling volumes are 0 for recent days.
Yes, the shares are in the borrowers' hands, nobody know when they are selling and buying back, what price they have sold at, what price they have bought back, and when the lender will call back the shares, when the borrower(s) want to return shares to the lender. But, who are they? Are they own gang? Borrow from the substantial shareholders, create public awareness announcement (and the word SBL is so small, not many ppl know what it is). What are they trying to do, try to guess ya.
RSS is different from SBL ( I think so, you can't see it from IDSS/PSS/RSS )?
Hopefully retail buyers don't Q to buy. The more retails come in to Q, the bigger selling tickets may come out and then suddenly the buy bid can become 25.5/26/26.5
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
