The net short position on UEMS as of 2023-06-27 was 6,617,902 shares (hasn't changed for weeks). However, a day later on 2023-06-28, it declined to 6,387,902 shares. This is a reduction of 230,000 shares or 2,300 lots. More short positions will be closed if it goes up further. Some forms of short squeeze might be triggered if UEMS surpassed certain price levels, more upside is coming.
Investment have to be patience. No rush to buy and sell daily. Do invest based on FA, don't TA. Chart is drawn by croc, don't read chart and don't see the hidden guys is fine. Be firm if ones would like to invest in a company.

I have held UEM for over 9 mths and waiting for it to break above 0.30. Didn't sell all that time touched 0.31 after election. Maybe this time is trending up for real?
Bull is coming for few more days. Today engine started. Other property And construction stocks are moving up too. We can't afford to buy all stocks at once, choose one and go.
The challenge with benchmarking companies is selecting the peers. If you want to benchmark against the Bursa property companies with SHF greater than RM 1b, I have an analysis in my blog titled "Will the Malaysian Property industry turn around by 2024? For example, from 2011 to 2022 UEMS had an average ROE of 3%. The mean ROE of the Bursa property companies with SHF > RM 1 averaged 7%.
