From what I understand TAGB is now the sole owner of the hotel and tower (hopefully I am not wrong). Holborn has received its share of the money and is not in it from here on. Easier this way.
From all this I can assume the family has a healthy amount of cash to maybe take TA private. They can do so in a very short time since they are only about 1% away from MGO. If they can proceed with that it will be good for investors.

The FY16 Q1 and Q2 results of TAGB was not good because a few of its hotels underwent major renovations. The renovation costs were charged out as expenses and hence affected the results. Q3 results was back to normal and we are waiting for Q4 results now and expecting that to be good with the profits from the Vancouver project. I personally think that its results for next year will continue to be good after the hotel renovations which may attract more hotel guests and F&B sales.

Yes, the Little Bay Project in Sydney are selling well.

That is while we say TA n TAGB are both undervalued. They own many 5 star hotels worldwide, grade A offices and prime landbank in Vancouver, Sydney and KL.

Nothing new. Today there is a grand opening for a Trump named property in Dubai and I don't think even the Muslims will care to protest. But Canadians like to show they are the most fair minded people in the whole world, which is not a bad thing but over doing it is yucky!! In my opinion.
