<南韩三星华城厂区惊传跳电，将影响 DRAM、NAND Flash 及 LSI 部分业务>

就在大家欢喜庆祝 2020 年元旦之际，南韩的半导体产业却传来了意外事件！根据外电的报导，南韩半导体厂商三星电子旗下位于华城的工厂发生了跳电事故，影响了 DRAM、NAND Flash，以及采用 EUV 技术的系统半导体生产部分。

根据 外电报导指出，三星电子位于南韩华城的工厂，在 2019 年 12 月 31 日发生了短暂的跳电情况，使得华城厂区内的部分工厂短暂停产。整个跳电的时间约 1 分钟，之后立即恢复了供电，目前三星正在积极的进行产线检查，在了解受损程度之后，以便在最短时间内恢复生产。

据了解，这次三星电子华城厂区的跳电事件，影响的是生产 DRAM 的 Line 12 产线，以及生产 Nand Flash 的 Line 13 产线，另外还有以 EUV （extreme ultraviolet）技术进行生产的 LSI（ large-scale integration）部分。根据市场人士估计，由于是生产 DRAM 的 Line 12 产线，以及生产 NAND Flash 的 Line 13 产线都属于制程比较落后的产线，因此受影响较大的部分的将会是在以 EUV 来生产系统半导体的领域，整体损失金额可能达到 3,000 万美元。

至于，会发生跳电的原因目前并不清楚。只是，以台湾的晶圆厂为例，在供电方面多半都设计有两套回路，分别由两个不同的变电所来供电，以降低因意外而发生跳电的风险。不过，如果发生大规模的天然灾害，例如地震而导致电厂停止运转的情况，这部分就另当别论。因此，这次南韩三星华城厂区在无发生重大天然灾害情况下，却发生跳电的情况，这个过程就必须好好地确认。

至于，这次的跳电事件是否会影响市场上 DRAM 及 NAND Flash 的价格，就如同 2019 年 6 月份，日本记忆体大厂东芝在三重县四日市的厂区发生跳电，造成市场供货冲击的状况，目前还不得而知。不过，日前三星才宣布，将在未来 10 年内投资超过千亿美元以发展系统半导体业务，已达成未来登上全球系统半导体业务龙头的计划，会不会因为这样的断电事件而受到影响，未来还需要进一步的观察。

在需求的膨胀下，未来也许会在某程度上跟不上需求，涨价的节奏可能会慢慢地越来越高。三星再豪砸千亿美元发展也未必能完全满足需求，越先进的工艺耗电及风险会增加，就只是目前的1分钟停电，损失金额可能达到 3,000 万美元，未来会更高成本。涨价也许会是各大生产商一种基本的庇佑，相信未来的储存生产或是高科技工艺生产，都会维持不错的毛利来保障更健康的发展吧？
