The rise in the share prices of Top Glove Corp Bhd and Hartalega Holdings Bhd might be too little too late from being relegated from the benchmark FBM KLCI in the upcoming review of the index unless Top Glove can gain another 45 sen while Hartalega by 70 sen by this week.

Apex Securities computed that Top Glove would need to achieve a total market capitalisation of RM12bil from its current standing at RM8.37bil before Nov 21 to keep its place in the index.

“The third bottom stock, Inari Amertron Bhd, stands at RM9.8bil, while while AMMB and QL’s market caps stand at RM13.2bil and RM13bil respectively,” it said.

When prices terjun from RM3 four months ago, most people already know that Harta will be excluded from FBM KLCI index. Don't know why some people still think Harta ada chance.

We don't know exactly when the gloves will overcome the oversupply problem (bila? 2023? 2024? 2025?) so expect price to fluctuate in a wave-like pattern. For nujums who predict sky high prices, forget about breaking 2020 high lah, unless markets anticipate super-giler-100%-kill-rate-covid22. The other group who persuade investors to cut loss at all cost, you ain't nujum pa' blalang either. Harta penny stock exactly when leh? @bang_miskin its like a belated drop. Not only does the QR continue showing decline, the decline did not really slow down. One day we cant stabilise the earnings, the onward projection would be loss making. When the decline will stop? Its anyone's guess. My guess was last QR and I was wrong, but let's hope the worst is over and we dont see operating/net losses.

Yeah I was looking at changes in net profit, if the decline doesn't change, good chance we might see net losses by the next QR.
The recent drop coincides with the loosening of covid-zero policy in China (Twenty Articles). Just a guess...

Could recall where I read/heard, but it seems that last week's overall rally in Bursa is due to foreign investors. US rate hike expectation slows down due to inflation rate decreasing, and also Malaysia reported good GDP growth. Some good catalysts for the overall market.
