looks like no interest at all from any major funds that may be invested in this counter to push up its price....... perhaps it'll move in Nov...... we just need to be a little more patient, which is what its testing us with.
The fuel future change overnite, they are dumping solar related counter because the solar power also define as energy industry same as crude oil related.
but cypark business is awarded from SEDA, every year TNB will buy the renewable energy will higher price pay by the 1.6 % charge from malaysian electricity bill. So I think the business is stable
so wrong. renewable energy is about clean energy, cannot calculated based on oil pricing. If not supported by governments all over the world, this "industry" has long dead since it cannot make enough profit (or mostly at loss) to motivate any business opportunity to happen. It's all about environmental friendly, all about the future of human beings. So the point is just this: if government/citizens very poor and cannot afford to support it by paying extra to them, then it's at high risk. Otherwise, it's "almost" irrelevant to oil price. Well, just my looking at it. You can have your own perspectives. :)
EVERY recent comment here is about renewable energy. Have any of you idiots actually looked at the revenue/profit composition of the company. Environmental Engineering is roughly 70% of revenue and profit. This company lives and dies because of EE. RE is just icing on the cake. Also, why would the govt. bail on eco-friendly programs like SEDA? You people make it sound like Malaysia is going to turn into Cambodia overnight just because the price of oil has dropped. There's too much pressure on small countries to address global warming for Malaysia to just stop all RE projects. It would make the govt. look really bad in the eyes of the rest of the world.
Another thought about RE. How does Tenaga generate power? Do they use oil? No. They use either coal or gas. The price of gas is stable. The price of coal has been dropping for months. Where were all you experts talking about RE being too expensive when coal was dropping? Why didn't the govt. stop all RE projects when the price of coal went down?
hey pooket, i think you have studied in this stock coz I also just realise that RE just 14.2% of the FYE 2014 revenue. I feel a bit shocked because I have been twisted by media for a long time.
I saw in Q4 report that 2 project : NLR and Kok Foh project. Is EE only involved in this 2 project. The report mentioned that these 2 projects "near its' completion".Is EE just rely in these 2 projects?
Do you know what is the project that "Phase 1 of the said project is near to its completion in current year and Phase 2 of the said project will only commence in next financial year." ?
I can't find any info of NLR and Kok Foh project in their website.
Because director or any boss no come out to say anything. So lost many investor. Investor donno the current project, only know the LTM only. Already talk so many year still no start.
