Who ever Selling or buying is ok. What important is the ability of Affin to make more profit and success of their AFFIN 2025 Plan (A25 Plan) in future.
@Eric Fong, totally agree. That's why I am a big believer in Affin. Actually, I am excited that it's gone down so I can buy more. Monitoring like an Eagle.
maybe they should merge with other small banks like MBSB, BIMB, Alliance Bank, Bank Muamalat . Too small to compete with those big boys. Or those big boys come makan (takeover) these little boys. :P
Read Kenanga Investment Bank's latest analysis with higher target prices of 2.01 to 2.21. i believe in its solid fundamentals, increasing profits, high NTA RM4.76 and high dividend yields. 😍😍😍
https://theedgemalaysia.com/node/672137 kenanga thinks AmBank is the next bank to be part of some M&A activity. i think so too for it being the most likely candidate as its made known that ANZ want to divest their investment in Malaysia. What are the probability you guys think Affin will ever be some takeover target since Affin is so small? Being Affin shareholders, of course I'm just hoping.
maybe Alliance takeover Affin? :) the singapore bank being super cash rich is known to love spreading their wings all over SEA. and both are small and need to merge to be more competitive.
news reported LTAT already in talks to sell their plantation and/or petrol stations . if succeed i think either those two big transactions will sustain them for quite some time after pare down their debt. If i were them i would keep affin unless the offer is too attractive to ignore, they need to invest in something sustainable which affin fits in. like said, i wish it will be sold at nice valuations. :)
Dividend reinvestment plan applicable to the final dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2022 ("6th DRP") - 72,599,211 shares at 1.730.
TheContrarian, monitoring and cheering! I am touring the world by car, thats why i am a bit quiet. Anyone wanting to follow my trip on twitter and tiktok @saudiroadrider. Might even end up in Malaysia in my Saudi car :)

Just read the minutes of the Affin Bank Berhad 47th AGM that the Chairman notified that the company agreed to credit RM50.00 as door gift for the meeting via any of AFFIN products such as credit card, current account and saving accounts as well as A1addin. Any idea ?
