Anyone who has been to Starbucks know how badly hit they are and seeing how it is tied to religious views, it will not go away anytime soon.

Next QR losses will be even worse.
Nothing to do with US and Israel boycott.

=> This CNY most Chinese boycotted mandarin oranges despite half priced due to War of Wallets 2024

I am pretty sure it has to do with the boycott. one would be blind not to see how having only less than 10 customers a day will not affect the revenue.

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

only super luxury coffee like Illy, Harrods and Marks & Spencer doing well.

Not only coffee, all Mass markets segment will suffer for many more QRs.

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

Uncle Don, Daiso and 7 Eleven also shut down outlets.
Way less customers at most Family Mart. Junction outlets like KLCC Family Mart doing well.

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

Popular bookstore also feeling the pinch. Way less customers and some stocks sold out not restocked.

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

Only Ultra Low Cost outlets like 99 Speedmart doing roaring business and expanding rapidly as customers migrated from more expensive supermarkets.

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

Nestle had started bombing the markets with more often 5+1 Maggi Mee packs to maintain sales.
Vits also followed Nestle to do Dive bombing with 10+1 packs.

Sales of Korean Noodles being expensive all dive bombed.
Some claim that Koreans bombed Gaza and Muslims boycotted Korean noodles? 🤣

Recessions always very short lived
and bull runs always last double/triple the length of recessions.

We are not into recession yet, so now not a good time to buy.

We are now at this point where Every Shop had bombed Gaza and all are boycotted. 😁

Conclusion => Avoid most consumer stocks until you can see more clarity.

Lol James bond really shiok sendiri

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

Yeah
25 to 30 sen seem reasonable but you have no idea how long you need to hold.

If you have lots of cash can grab 25 to 30 sen at your own risk.

Remember not just to boycott Starbucks, please do the same to FamilyMart, iPhone, intel, AMD, Grab, Tesla, google etc… the countries supporting Israel can’t feel the pain with just boycotting Starbucks!

Israel wars against hamas berlarutan & boikot sampai wars end, probably dec 2024. Expecting bjfood price to fall.

BFood posted a net loss of RM42.6mil in the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2023 (2Q24) against a net profit of RM35.5mil in 2Q23, while revenue fell to RM182.6mil from RM295.3mil.

The wars could extend to 2025. Israel is strong militarily, etc.

How did Israel become so powerful?
In fact, behind the success of Israel is the thoughtful policy of the state and the sacrifices of the entire Jewish people. First of all, there was insane defence spending. For decades, Israel spent 15-30% of GDP on the army. The country saved in other areas, and for two generations focused on protecting the country.22 Aug 2023

Posted by TiffanixLVxHermes > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

decided to cut loss @ 0.555
considering opportunity + time cost (its business might need longer time to recover)
will re-enter when it hit bottom and form uptrend momentum

Cheers

Boycott now working. Hurting Malaysian companies (although with foreign brands) and workers (mostly muslim). If recession hits after the super inflation in April, many sectors will get hit. Government will be blamed.
