I see business erosion
and Starbucks Malaysia aka BJFoods will never ever go back to any profitability unless they chop off nearly half of their Starbuck outlets.

Ego will prevent any chopping off of outlets, and cancer will drag on and on just like Top Glove operations.

10 years ago I used to spent circa RM1,000.00 a month at Starbucks
and I travel extensively through out Klang Valley, thats easily 60% of Malaysia economic activity.
I had been to many many Starbucks outlets.

Nowadays my spendings at Starbucks had reduced from 12K a year to at best a mere RM100.00 per year.
Today my first priority is Coffee Bean,
second choice is McCafe at McD.
McCafe offers Secret Recipe cakes at smaller size and smaller price point. Good Idea ! 😁

Zus and all the rest are distant third choice.

Starbucks is no longer under consideration.

"There will be no question raised if the products came directly from Israel, but the products boycotted are not Israeli products or made in Israel.


"In the future, the boycott may also impact franchises or big companies that want to invest in Malaysia. We need to rethink the boycott," Azmi told Business Times, noting also that the government should be involved in the boycott if it was for products that came direct from Israel.

"However, indirect boycotts should not involve the government because it will be interpreted as a policy, which sends a bad signal to future businesses that want to invest in Malaysia."

let's say the company is actually worth more than 0.57. then why don't the owner (super tycoon) just privatize the company with his own money? instead of doing buy back with the company's left over cash? company current asset's is less than total liabilities from what I checked. won't that act put the company into a much difficult situation with increased debt?
