Look at the big picture. The stock was in a downtrend. And then broke the downtrend line. This should be the beginning of a reversal of the uptrend. This pass few days we've seen some low volume shakeout sell buy the shark. But. The stock hold and create nice support. Probably will see some downbar after this due to profit taking. But i think it will rise like a flying dragon.

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Pelikan International Corp Bhd jumped 5.5 sen to 66 sen with 15.97 million units done at midday on Friday and this suggests it is on an upward trend.

A technical chartist said the rebound was also supported by higher trading volume of 15.97 million shares.

“The jump in the share price has lifted prices out of the short-term descending line. The breakout suggests the recent correction has ended and now it is on the way up.

“The recent overbought condition has been fully neutralised,” he said.

“A break above this recent peak of 79.5 sen level would signal an upward trend continuation,” he said - sources the star

Pelikan should climb higher after closing its highest in more than a week. A position can be initiated if it closes above MYR0.65, with a close below MYR0.60 as a stop-loss. The price target is at MYR0.90, if the MYR0.80 resistance is broken. A failure to get above MYR0.65, however, could see the stock trading sideways and the downside risk will increase if the stop-loss is triggered.
