VenFx, why leh? Can spread out the cross spill-over efffect so that both Annjoo and Ssteel can prolong the uptrend? Or so that you have more time to accumulate?
good job ,southern steel .. going upward is the only direction ..this will continue till the release of upcoming quarterly result .. the result should be fantastically great ..
The Ssteel buyers have to fight for the steel stock and local big projects(LRT and rail projects) are rolling up so expect the strong growth in the sector. Trading buy call 2.50. Target price 3.00
Sure, previous Chin Well import wire rod from his sister company in China and Taiwan. The only solution now is buy locally and you can imagine how much volume that Chin Well needs.
Not only Chinwell, but those industry who fabricate car spring, fastener, wire drawing industry all have to source local since Malaysia is among the cheapest long steel suppliers in the world.
with perwaja, megasteel , kinsteel all in trouble.... this will create shortage to steel supply. Top up with China environmental issue, steel industry is a good long-term play now. Buy and keep for long-term .
i think ann joo and s.steel will merge just like the banking industry. To make it attractive for share swap, ssteel share price must close with ann joo.... at least 3.00. The merger will make them stronger once the import duty tax is lifted. So, there is more upside for ssteel.
Does the share price of two companies need to be aligned (in the same vicinity) before a merger can take place? I've not heard of this concept before. Interesting. Mind explaining further?
i feel very happy with masteel's slightly increase better performances during raya seasson still able to maintain both revenue and profit on the qtr17 vs qtr16 . (very positive sign)
Prospects Strong international steel prices driven by tight s upply of finished goods and increase of raw materials costs have yet to be fully reflected in l ocal steel prices. The local demand for steel remains subdued while the roll out of many mega pro ject is expected to only materialize in the next few quarters. The high price of imported steel together with incr easing costs of raw materials present a potentially conducive condition for the margins of the Company's products to improve in the near term.
furthur to notice : Emetal & Lsteel has made similiar set of commendable results .
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....

Can we expect the same for ssteel? 5-6 cents followed by a fierce pull up headed for PE 9?
