KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and Saudi Aramco are expected to sign an agreement to collaborate in the country's Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project, two industry sources said on Wednesday.

Aramco had decided to suspend its partnership with Petronas in the refining and petrochemical complex in the southeast of the country, according to sources last month.

The signing is expected to take place on Monday, said one of the sources with knowledge of the matter who declined to be identified, during a visit by Saudi Arabia's King Salman to Malaysia.

Saudi Aramco declined to comment and Petronas was not immediately available for comment. - Reuters

Petdag and hibiscus qr report will be released in less then two weeks. The different between petdag and hibiscus is that hibiscus is dept free and 60 milion cash flow. I am not promoting hibiscus here as i do own both, however i think we should support hibiscus too as it share now is at lowest level, oil price is stable, good for both petdag and hibiscus. Lets see monday how that goes. I gues both will report a higher net profite comparing to previous report.

IF Petdag can achieve $1 billion net profit in 2017, its forward P/E based on today's market cap of $24.3 billion (market price per share of 24.40) is 24.3x. Assuming Petdag also maintains its DPO of 75% (as in 2016), the dividend that can be anticipated will be 750 million, giving a projected dividend yield of 3.09% for 2017.

Petdag reported a good last quarterly results. YoY quarterly earnings increased by 15%. The dividend declared for Q1 is 14 sen per share, compared with dividend of 12 sen per share the same quarter of previous year.

Its PE has attenuated.

PetronM PE now near 8

Given retail nature of Petdag, it should be value only at 10

TP of PETDAG is RM1x10=RM10, price RM24 too over valued!
