why sell? next week announce annual budget, everyone from analyst to minister say will help first time home buyer, who will be the beneficiary? next month bank negara will most likely reduce opr rate, this is also predicted by economist, who will be the beneficiary then ?

RPS offer price RM1.10 with 6% yearly a very good deal. Add in potential capital appreciation on conversion to ordinary shares make it a very viable investment.

right issue RCPS LBS-PA pay 6% dividend annually (0.066 per RCPS)
conversion 1.10 x 2 = 2.20...
not so tempting.. perhaps we can buy PA at below 1.10 that's bargain....hope for mother share drops! after the right issue!

I don't understand why anyone want to subscribe to RCPS LBS-PA at RM1.10 per right issue? To convert to mother share need 2 LBS-PA to get one mother share LBS? Why need to spend RM2.20 when can buy directly LBS at RM2?

When you subscribe for RCPS, you get 6% dividend a year (yield about 5.5%). Buy mother share, get only 2 sen a year. Convert only after 5 years. If mother share goes up higher than 2.20, additional capital gain. If lower, then absorb the losses. So look at the prospects and weigh.

cckkpr, Say I have rm11,000 to subscribe for RCPS...

Since mother price is rm1.97, why not use that money to buy the mother now instead...

The difference rm2.20-rm1.97=rm0.23 gain immediately ....No need to wait for 6% dividend & mother share goes up higher than 2.20

what do you think?
