No idea, this is not penny stock, not much impact on retailers. Lagi pun u r not KYY, so wat make u think de price shall up after u posted such an article?
Another interesting question now, sharks pull out their funds from penny tech stocks recently. Will they switch their funds back to those solid fundamental stocks like latitude now? Time will tell!
I don't care whether the price up or down after I post the article, that wasn't the purpose of the article plus my way of investing isn't short term. I was asking how to make my article tied in with LATITUD forum?
Solid fundamental stocks will always prevail. Time is the best friend of a good company.
It might be undervalued but unlike some other wood based companies on Bursa, it has not capacity expansion to drive exponential growth in the coming quarters/years.
In my opinion, even with 0% growth, the company is already fairly valued. Calculate P/E,net cash holdings and let's assume 0% growth for the next 5 years. I calculated it to be fairly valued at current price.
last q announces somewhere 30 May, price after annoucement is around 5.20 for the next few days..
this q reported lower profit due to additional 2.5 mil forex loss and additional 7 mil tax compared to last q, beside that the core earnings more or less same as last q, see how low it can go or panic sell .... think this stock is for value investor, kiki
Market cap drop by 40million, annual net profits drop by 3.7million.
Gross profit
The Group has recorded higher gross profit from RM28.1 million in the preceding quarter compared to RM31.3 million in current quarter, representing an increase of 11.4%. The substantial increase was mainly due to the followings:
1) increase in sales of better margin products 2) better results achieved by upstream factories.
Something wrong with its Vietnam operation. Its profit margin drop to 9.6% from 11.5%, and tax shot up to 27% from 19%. Vietnam is its main contributor. This negative impact could affect its peer - Poh Huat too. Just take note. Poh Huat main contributor is also come from Vietnam.

Below is the email from Maybank broker Mr Soo Wing Hoe to confirm the trading of my nominee Yap Sung Pang who is my nephew, on 30 Aug 2017. Yap bought a total of 1,272,000 Jaks shares out of 1,480,000 shares traded the whole day.
Many uninformed and weak holders dumped their holdings as soon as they saw Jaks'poor 2nd Q result. They cannot see that JAKS will have to report the Rm 140 million from land sale and more profit from its power plant contract to generate electricity to sell to the Vietnamese Government for 25 years in the next 1 or 2 quarters.
The profit growth prospect is the most powerful catalyst to move share price. Smart investors will buy before the announcement of good profit and stupid idiots will sell before the announcement.
I hope more weak holders will continue to sell so that I can buy some more at cheaper prices.

only time will tell who will be the winner, in a short run market is a voting machine while in a long run it is a weighing machine. My view is that this company is still full of positives that overweight the negatives.
Expect a jump up tomorrow at open, as The Star has published a positive sector report. But then expect a selldown given the volume/liquidity being offered.
Realised something, the quieter the forum of the company, the better the investment opportunity and lesser speculators paying a high premium for their stories.
