The company gets funds from the conversion of warrants @ 90cts to get the mother share. Therefore, it is hard to imagine the mother would go much lower.

When share splits, par value should be half too. While the expectation of share might go up in good sentiment, it is possible within the next few weeks true correction will come. The par value is about RM0.58/ per share. Indicator shows there is more sell down coming with a sell call in short term. Those people who are buying in today might get lock out.

Directors selling before split to booked in the profit and at the same time the funds are use to support after ex.

from today rebound it is going to push up to accommodate the warrants listing......further yesterday was the start of share buyback.

so in term price support ....no need to worry.

The price should go up elbrutus. Imagine the price as it is. The market will just toss the warrants to each other because the price protection just isn't enough. When the mkt converts to mum it pays 90cts which is then the actual fund the co. receives. Suppose the price of the mum is .95 cts; it would be quite crazy to attach 90cts for conversion if the warrants were 6 or 7 cts. or for that matter 3, 4 or 5 cts. However, if the mum price is for example, 1.50 and the warrants is at 45cts or 50cts, which is ' in the market', then it makes sense to take the risk. Otherwise to balance between conversion and warrant price is useless for this stock.

@Janus, based on the financial results, the mgt's guidance on business plans and the kind of business CCK is in, this is a good counter with potential to go further up. At current price RM0. 94, the PE is only about 12x.

iTelex6 Janus, it is a matter of tolerance. Say, at 2.00 for e.g. and you've bot at 95cts your tolerance is very great. Nevertheless, I personally take a stop out like maybe 6 to 8%. This stk has an ex. px for warrants at 90cts and the company gets its funds when the warrants are converted. Pls read my opinion today at 8.12 am.as well as on 19/6. This stock has a wonderful track record of profit for the last 12 qtrs. with the last being a significant 12.411 million representing 172% over the corresponding qtr of last year. Whatever you do, put a stop loss at all times.

This share is very good for buying. If the warrant is at this level @ 30cts then the mother has got to go up. And who would convert if the mother goes below 90cts and therefore how does the company gets its funds? As it is, with the warrant at such a price, the mother has got to move upwards. The premium to hold the warrants cannot be this high if the mother stays at say, .925.
