Relax guys, gold price at end of July is at the highest compare to previous months in 2016. And they hv increase their gold inventory significantly in July to 900+kg, I believe they hv collect it during the small gold price correction in July before its shooting up again at end of July. Together with the increase amount of gold mine in last few months (min4kg each month), I'm confident n optimistic with the results. Let's just wait for the results later this evening!

FYI, gold mining PBT margin is close to 82%(can't remember exact figure) according to their announcement Last month.

r3490, nothing is guarantee :) but I would rather buy n hold a company with good prospect rather than a goreng stock with no fundamental. Everyone hv their own investing philosophy, no right or wrong.

funda I am talking about QR release date patterns here. Certain stocks always go down at QR. Bad news, go down, good news (sell on news) go down. If there has been a recent flurry of volume which caused share price to go up within the month prior to a QR release, it seems to me the above rules applies.

R3490, agreed. This may apply to certain stock. But not sure it is true for bornoil or not. Mayb you are right :)
From my point of view, if the result is good, the stock will certainly fly next week. If not good, Mayb will drop a little bit back to 17sen level.

From the results,seems like they will only record their gold trading profit after it is sold. So the low price gold they collected during month July is not realize in this qtr results. It will shown in next qtr, where they reduce the holding to 600+kg in aug.
not a great results, let see how market react next week

As stated above, the MM division will be finalising its heap leaching process at Bukit Ibam and is looking forward to process the 1.80 tons of its inferred gold resources in the near future. This, it is hoped will substantially contribute to its revenue. Bukit Ibam is in the process of conducting its 2nd phase exploration program which is expected to be completed either before the end of the financial year or in the early part of the 1st quarter of next year.

Moving forward, the FF division is expected to improve its bottom line in the next two quarters as plans are afoot to expand the Pezzo brand to Sabah and Kalimantan, Indonesia. There are also plans for a Sugarbun brand, Borneo Asian Food (BAF) to expand to West Malaysia, after a very successful opening of its 1st outlet in Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur. The 2nd BAF outlet is expected to be opened in October in Pacific Place, Ara Damansara.

ya, but if u go through the contents of the report, there is still long journey to go, Fast Food division maybe still can sustain in coming years, but Mining division, especially gold, i think is not guarantee profit business, assume global gold price suddenly plunged down, from previous 10 million profit become 10 million loss, some more gold mining cost is high, is a risky business...mood abit down... :-( up up up...bornoil... :-D :-D :-D
