Agreed Bruce, Bornoil is relatively an infant gold miner and fast food player and achieving these results are indeed challenging. Obviously, Higher the Risks , Higher the Returns. Dares you!!

My comment on bornoil in other forum. But in Chinese.
成绩单出来了。F&B 有点差，比去年还低。Mining 部分比上一季度少了不少，必须更正之前的预测。Q1 虽然二月份黄金价格涨，但是黄金库存没有涨很多，估计都是在低价买然后也在高价卖了一部分，所以都record 进Q1 profit 了。 但到了Q2，7月份因为Brexit 价格高涨时候，黄金库存也增加了很多，这些低价买的黄金大部分还没卖出去，所以这个季度的业绩没Q1理想。下个季度会不错，因为库存在8月份降低了很多。
只能等下个季度来确认了。

Anyway, F&B worst than last year, most likely due to opening of new outlet.
Q1 is good becoz gold price increase a lot in feb, but the inventory didn't increase much, we can assume that most of the gold bought at low price were sold back at high price, no net accumulation of gold inventory.
In Q2, gold price shoot up in July due to Brexit. But the inventory increase significantly, that mean most of the gold bought are not sold to market. N they cannot record the trading profit in this s latest result.
In August the inventory reduce down to 600kg. So I would expect good performance in Q3.

Acmilan, agreed. I'm surprise when see their PBT margin of 84%! That's extremely high! Not sure it is due to technology use or what. Hopefully the new heap leaching plant also hv similar margin

Bruce, I am here.For me it is a good result lah, bro, just not excellent that we hope so. it is positif and 50% better than 2015 2nd quarter like Funda mention. Bear in mind that bornoil not push up to 0.230 or more before QR, if not maybe next Tuesday it may drop a bit, that is call over estimate by market, if that so even good QR will make the share price drop, like happent to other counters. i also estimate next Tuesday market reaction is positif, may go up 0.190-0.195. i am happy that next QR3 seems very secure ! just imagine what will happent in this months onward, after going into comerrcial. Believe that the one holding gold will be the king after this

Good point there bonus2016.
On trading side, Q3 results is secured partly by the gold sold on August( that is 300kg+).
On F&B, historically the profit would increase a lot in Q3 n even much much higher in Q4, not sure what is the reason. But at least that is proven in last few years.
