At 2.08 and 10sen div paid quarterly the return is 4.8%. Where to get even FD is only about 3.7% bro. I will stay with Padini. Not counting appreciation and any increase in div if given. Save bet

agree with loopie. first psychological barrier high, take profit at 2.09 or wait awhile after CNY to restart engine to breach this barrier and test 2.19

First of all, thanks to Padini. What a great performer counter lately :-) Well, he always a great counter to invest for long term as I keep saying for years and will still say the same for now.

Second, announcement of quarterly report is coming together with dividends stay tuned. If you don't need money or your money don't have better place yet, I advice to stay here for another week plus or so to hear the announcement. Good or bad you can decided at that time.

Anyway, for those who drive back hometown, drive safe and enjoy your long weekend and holiday.

I do manage to invest some at 1.8x & 1.9x not many as I do invest regular in this counter. In total, quite a number of lots on hand now hehehe..... but that for my retirement so seldom sell unless need money urgent.

Revenue up almost 39%, operating expenses up 18%, gross profit up 36%, profit before tax almost doubled up this Q. Gross margins remain somewhere at 40%. Don't worry. Keep it for Special Dividends on top of 10 cents div. It is just a correction today for others to buy cheaper. It will go out soon I believe as EPS is high. Its PE is around 12.72.

most counters with good profit announced also cannot escape the selldown yesterday due to sudd drop in crude oil price. external sentiment is not good, and probably the big players are orchestrating a selldown to scare us all. i think for mid to long term, Padi it at a good buy if it touches the lower RM2

Agreed with @skyz. Medium to long term perspective i believe padini has the potential to go until 2.40~2.50 then targeting for 3. But based on recent trend, alot of good result stock gets sell down terribly, eg, tekseng with stellar result yet the price unchanged corresponding to price before result announcement. market sentiment is not good, and too bad padini is also impacted with this unwelcome sentiment...

Yeah people sell on news. Should be only a small group of people is doing that. It happen to this counter couple of times. So no surprise in fact if you follow through this counter then you should buy when it go down. Anyway this what I do every time.

I think I mention many times. For this counter, if you believe in their management then just leave your money there to growth, collect normal dividend, get surprise with special dividend and share split. Just these couple of things alone. Even the share price up 5 to 10% from where you bought it you are getting decent return already.

I pretty sure for those who hold this counter for long definitely can feel and understand what I shared above. I kind of lost count how much I earn from just dividend alone. Hehe....
