Wer got so many water fishes go to watch nyonya show for 120 per ticket. Tiger show I go lah. Travel agents oso not stupid one, boring nyonya show no market at all. Tetra sq not money to go on, as less occupancy rate, so as the beautiful hotel that half build.
7 b impressions project, done by 100 M firm which is operating loss. So PP n PP agian, just like lend money eat restaurant.

last Sat went to watch the show at RM77 for 2, the stage was marvelous but the storyline was lousy and misleading. It would make ppl thought Melaka is a small village that stay by Baba Nyonya only. I dun think this kind of show can build its name in opera world.

At Genting, the casino is the main attraction, together with 1 st World hotel and shopping complex. At impressions city, Encore nyonya shows is the point of attraction, plus tetra sq n YT Hotel. The casino is cash cow, the encore is money burning machine. This is why so bad now for YTB.
If the show is something interesting, got tigers moving around, the whole scenario may be different oledi........

A yr ago, media interviews ah Boo, he say encore targeting 40% China tourists, 30% middle east tourists, remaining for other nations. It means they dun mind the local market.
The problem now, wer got so many foreigners? During peak or holiday, may be lah. Low session less than 5% attendance rate.
My frens gone inside there, say almost slept !!! They say better go concert or melody songs....
