Is very normal to have appointed partners to distribute ur product, the same thing can be say in China where Biotech have an agreement with. This is no brainer as to maintain ease of communication and out sourcing point of contact to a single third party. I believe, Malaysia plan to have bulk procurement and fill and finish locally allowed it to buy a lot faster from China unlike other countries such as Singapore, Philippine, etc. I believe having a GLC to handle procurement and supply is a much thought out plan and a win-win solution to both party.

Government buy Pfizer thru Pfizer Malaysia. Buy AZ thru AZ Malaysia. No idea about the registration holder Buy Sinovac thru Pharma bcoz Pharma is the registration holder. May buy Cansinobio thru Solution bcoz Solution is registration holder. May buy Sinopharm or any other vaccine thru whoever tbe registration holder is. All the vaccine subject to NPRA approval. The mark up is normal to cover business process and some profit gain. The buying price presented to audit committee but not us public for some reason. Maybe one of the reason is to avoid some haters politize it eg. This kroni make secret profit la... That kroni make some la... It should be cheaper.
What a funny mentality our people have when we are at covid war now. Never ending.

Injection cost est rm50, vaccine cost +- rm100, others cost +-rm40. That's why for private sector and location arrange yourself, one dose is rm190 and 2 dose is rm380 (min 1500 doses as per rumours) (declared by selangor gorv). My guess price published is for 2 dose. That may includes all process involved. Importation, cold chain storage, packing, admin, logistics + mark up. Also depends on how many tiers thru out the supply chain before it reach the people.
