Why people keep on thinking Russia Vaccines is fake? They are not thinking of China , German and US Pfizer are at the final state of testing and the test result is good.The mass production of vaccines will be in near future.

Malaysia changed from a central government

found that selected drug prices in the public sector increased post privatization, particularly

From 2006 to 2016, the pharmaceutical market (prescription and over-the-counter (OTC)
drugs) grew at an average annual rate of 8.3% from RM3.4 billion to RM8.6 billion

Production of generic medicines is mainly for domestic consumption although the larger
companies are increasingly turning to exports. These include Duopharma (CCM) and
Pharmaniaga (both GLCs), Hovid, Kotra and Y.S.P. The two large GLC pharmaceutical manufacturers are casting their nets abroad. Exports account for 25% of Pharmaniaga’s and 11% of CCM’s sales revenues respectively.

Don't put too high hope on vaccine. Malaysia and some countries recovery rate is encouraging which means existing drugs are as good in fighting the disease. And most of these drugs has been in the market for many years which patent already expired and we are able to produce the generic locally.

If all normalize, expect it to go back to RM 4.7x range again, next week Pharma QR report.. shud be much better than Dpharma..

Dpharma result is flat due to it not having extra applicable sales to hospital equipment, quarantine center set up and etc..

Pharma at the other side will involve in distribution and sales of sanitizer, gloves, cuff, syringes and etc to government hospital in msia.. Expected to see Pharma performed much better in Q2 compared to DPharma flattish result..

However, the opportunity of vaccines sales still remain good as Msia will put it compulsory for vaccination upon having the right vaccine..
