PTRB is a strange company.

I know a lot of people from seafood industry from Fisherman to Factory. I am in Texchem and QL for their seafood ops. I am see seafood industry up.

No one knows PTRB because they hardly buy seafood in Malaysia. Most of their revenue comes from importing seafood overseas and reexport. This type of business is being under heavy scrutiny by China authorities.

Look at their aging and receivables. Mismatch.

I am very sure big issue with Upcoming QR.

Ular bet for kfc only. Last time ada rebound Ular ada dapat kfc b4. Sifu pun same juga. Now another time see can rebound or not lor. BTW why you see no up the seafood ctr like MikeTikus last time went there to kutuk the ctr when Sifu we was there leh. Any reason. Haiyoh. Boleh?

Malaysia is a popular transhipment port because export to many countries 0 import tax. So the system if no one bothers... its ok. But China especially is monitoring the situation now

By this factor alone, big drop in revenue

The main concern on seafood is the contamination water that poured out from Japan. That is why Texchem has not been doing too well but I believed they have already started sourcing seafood from elsewhere for their sushi king business. As for PTRB, just a very small punt from my side as most of my counters are giving me significant return. I hope that the CNY festive season within their upcoming quarter will bring them some good result. But nobody can tell if that would materialise or not. Just for some excitement Nia. 🤣🤣🤣

Transhipment is very lucrative business. Only cost is relabelling and labor cost. Almost full profit.

I dont follow PTRB so I dont know about freezers.

When i have market info I share. Its from multiple seafood people.

If you have time.. go study SBH Marine. Its a solid company owned by the old gingers from Eastern Global Marine. The Tan family. They are one of the pioneers of seafood in Malaysia. Same batch as Chia Song Kun from QL.

Texchem gave up their seafood processing plant in Myanmar and Malaysia.

Converted into semi ready to eat seafood. Not as grand as before. They are still supplying sushi king.

Now Tan Sri son Dr.Yuma is almost ready to take over .. hope better things in the future
