BullRun_93 Don't you think Dato' Karem is a nice and generous guy by taking over SCIB and KPower @1.1 and 1 respectively when both counters were languishing around .4 to .5 ? infact he could have taken advantage of the weak market sentiment and pressed down the G.O. price 50% had he wanted to..! Moreover in the KPower's offer document he had spelt out all the future business he was going to do with KPower eventho he was not compelled to reveal; this had put him at a disadvantage as many shareholders after reading these would not accept the G.O. He is kind hearted enough to let lots of shareholders to keep holding the shares and grow with the company. I have been in stock market for about 30 years and so far Dato' Karem is the most generous, magnanimous, kind-hearted corporate leader !

Kumpulan Powernet Bhd’s substantial shareholder Datuk Dr Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah owned 40.65 million shares, or a 53.38% stake, in the group at the close of his takeover offer yesterday.

This was announced by RHB Investment Bank Bhd on behalf of Kumpulan Powernet in a statement today.

The statement said Abdul Karim, who is also the managing director and chief executive officer of Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd, intends to maintain the listing status of Kumpulan Powernet on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

Abdul Karin made the mandatory general takeover offer on Oct 2 after raising his stake in Kumpulan Powernet to 36.49%, following the purchase of 12.25 million shares or 16.09% for RM12.25 million or RM1 per share.

Price”) which shall not be subject to adjustment or recalculation should the actual

Kumpulan Powernet Bhd (KPower), which is looking to diversify its business portfolio, is targeting an order book of RM1 billion from the energy and utilities, as well as infrastructure and logistics sectors.

The group just landed a RM254.32 million project from Signvest Sdn Bhd to build sewerage treatment facilities and a 12-floor green building here. The project is part of its plan to venture into a new business area, said KPower in a stock exchange filing yesterday, adding that it will be seeking shareholders approval for the diversification.

Let us say that they complete the RM1 billion jobs in 2.5 years. For every year, they will record revenue of RM400 million, based on profit margin of 10%, the earnings will be RM40 million.

RM40 million / 76.15 million shares x 10 per = RM5.25
