Deutsche Bank predicts a mild U.S. recession in the first half of 2024 and a whopping 175 basis points of rate cuts, with lower borrowing costs driving the S&P 500 share index (.SPX), opens new tab to 5,100 points. The S&P 500 has gained 19% this year to 4,567.
JP Morgan views a recession as possible and the S&P finishing the year at 4,200, while Goldman Sachs sees only limited recession risk.

DELAY IN ISSUANCE OF THE ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE FINANCIAL PERIOD ENDED 30
SEPTEMBER 2023 PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH 9.23(1) OF THE MAIN MARKET LISTING
REQUIREMENTS (“MMLR”) OF BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BERHAD (“BURSA
SECURITIES”)

The Board of Directors of Reneuco (“Board”) wishes to announce that the Company is unable to release
to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") and the shareholders its Annual Report that
includes the annual audited financial statements together with the auditors’ and directors’ reports in
respect of the financial period ended 30 September 2023 (“Annual Report 2023”) within four (4) months
from the close of the financial year of the Company which falls on 31 January 2024 as required under
Paragraph 9.23(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“MMLR”) of Bursa Securities (“Relevant
Timeframe”).
The delay in the issuance of Annual Report 2023 was mainly due to the additional time needed by the
External Auditors to complete its audit and the Company wishes to provide more time for the External
Auditors to complete the Audited Financial Statements for the financial period ended 30 September
2023. The Company is working with the External Auditors to finalise the audit expeditiously.
Notwithstanding the above, the Company expects to issue and submit its Annual Report 2023 by March
2024 although the Company is working towards the deadline on 8 February 2024.
Pursuant to Paragraph 9.28(5) of the MMLR, if the Company fails to announce/issue the outstanding
Annual Report 2023 within five (5) market days after the expiry of the Relevant Timeframe (the last day
of this five (5) market days period is referred to as “Suspension Deadline”) which is on 8 February
2024, in addition to any enforcement action that Bursa Securities may take, Bursa Securities shall
suspend trading in the securities of the Company.
The suspension shall be effected on the next market day after the Suspension Deadline which is on 9
February 2024 and will be lifted on the market day following the announcement/issuance of the
outstanding Annual Report 2023 unless otherwise determined by Bursa Securities.
Pursuant to Paragraph 9.28(6) of the MMLR, if the Company fails to announce/issue the outstanding
Annual Report 2023 within six (6) months from the expiry of the Relevant Timeframes, in addition to
any enforcement action that Bursa Securities may take, Bursa Securities shall commence de-listing
procedures against the Company.
